Lotto scam, gang feud at centre of Westmoreland quadruple murder

The Westmoreland police believe lottery scamming and a year-long gang feud played key roles in Jamaica yesterday recording its fourth quadruple killing of 2015 and leaving the usually quiet Whithorn community in shock.
Thugs shot and killed 14-year-old Shawn Clayton, 20-year-old Romario Drummond, 22-year-old Theodore Tennant, and Demar Doeman while they reportedly played a video game at a shop.
The police say one of the men killed was an accused in a shooting incident that occurred several months ago.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Paul Ferguson, commander of Police Area 1, in which Westmoreland falls, said the police would maintain a "strong presence in the area until calm is restored".
