We will not step back, warns police commissioner after deadly attack
Police Commissioner Major General Antony Anderson has warned that the Jamaica Constabulary Force will be unrelenting in pursuing the criminals who attacked a team of cops in Horizon Park, St Catherine this morning.
Two of the cops were killed and two others seriously injured.
Superintendent Leon Clunis is among the injured cops.

"This is not going to cause us to step back," Anderson told reporters near the house where the cops were attacked during what he called an intelligence-driven operation.
According to Anderson, investigators have ascertained some leads from the house and will be pursuing them.
The chief constable also rejected suggestions that the police on the operation were caught off guard.
"There is no indication of that," he charged.

"Whenever we go into an operation, we have to take due care of how we approach things. The people we confront have no such restrictions," the commissioner said.
He also said the Independent Commission of Investigations is probing the incident.
However, Commissioner Anderson would not say whether any person other than the cops were hit in the crossfire.
According to him, 11 cops were on the operation.
