Give children love and appreciation
THE EDITOR, Madam
May is Child Month, and we, as parents, would show love and appreciation by taking out our kids for recreation, but instead, we have to keep them indoors because of a bush tiger called coronavirus.
Every year at this time, I also take the time to visit students at the school where I serve on the PTA executive to spend a little time with them, help them with their schoolwork, and make other contributions to let them feel loved, but this is the time to stay home and pray for them.
I am happy to spend time with my child, but when I remember my students and can’t see them, I am unhappy and feel sad. But it gives me hope that one day, we will wake up to good news that this bush tiger would have gone away with the help of God.
Parents, as a man of God from the Anglican Church, my advice to you all is to follow the regulations from the Government. If you have to leave home to do business, wear a mask. Please don’t linger on the streets, and stay away from crowded areas. If you don’t have any need to go on the road, stay home.
Let’s help the Government to protect us so that we can see all of the children return to school in good heath when that time comes. May God bless the children of this land, one love.
