Extend inoculation blitz hours

Published:Thursday | September 2, 2021 | 12:09 AM

THE EDITOR, Madam:

It is not safe to have crowds of people with no social distancing waiting in the hot sun to get vaccinated. The Government should extend the vaccination blitz into night. They could open at 6 a.m.-10 a.m. for the senior citizens and then have another shift from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for young adults.

My views on the current COVID-19 vaccines are known. I am pro-choice when it comes to these current vaccines. You have the right to accept or decline any medicine. I don’t believe anyone should be forced to be vaccinated. To be honest, most of them speaking now don’t have any morals and values to lecture, censor, bully and shame anyone.

We are in a democratic society, and currently persons want to take the vaccines so the Government should make it easier for them to do so and not to frustrate them.
