Guests converged at the National Gallery of Jamaica (NGJ) in downtown Kingston last Wednesday for a second private viewing of ‘Of Wood and Water: The Scotiabank Collection ‘. Following the exhibition’s opening in June, the evening offered another opportunity for guests to engage with the stories, symbolism and history behind more than 50 works drawn from the Scotiabank corporate art collection and the NGJ permanent collection. As they explored the exhibition, attendees heard insights from artists and curators, while the violin sounds of Dayna Palmer provided the soundtrack for the evening.
