Firearm, ammo seized in Knockpatrick, Manchester

The Mandeville Police say they seized a firearm and several rounds of ammunition during a vehicular search in Berry Hill district in Knockpatrick, Manchester yesterday.
They say two men were arrested and charge in connection with the seizure.
They are 44-year-old Carl Cotnott and 32-year-old Paul White both of Berry Hill district.
The Police say they were on an operation in the area about 4:30 in the afternoon, when the driver of a Grey Honda Integra motor car was signaled to stop.
The vehicle was searched and one 9 millimeter Taurus pistol and 14 rounds of ammunition allegedly found inside the vehicle.
The men are scheduled to appear before the Mandeville Resident Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
