Two time defending 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has been named as Jamaica's flag bearer for the 2016 Olympic Games.
Fraser-Pryce is looking to become the first woman to win three Olympic gold medals in the 100m in Rio de Janiero, but has been hampered by a toe injury all season.
She has been Jamaica's leading female sprinter since bursting on the scene at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, where she surprised the world with a gold medal win in the 100m.
She followed up that success with another 100m gold at the 2012 Olympics in London and has also won seven World Championships gold medals.
