Second Westmoreland shooting victim dies

The police have confirmed that a second man has died from injuries he received after a gunman opened fire inside a business establishment in Negril, Westmoreland on Thursday.

He has been identified as 21-year-old Terrion Jones of Broughton district in the parish.

The police report that Jones and 21-year-old Renell Noble were among several customers inside a hair salon in West End, Negril when a man entered the establishment and opened fire.

It’s reported that three men were found suffering from gunshot wounds and were taken to hospital where Noble was pronounced dead.

The police say Jones succumb to his injuries yesterday while the other man has been treated and released.
