Two missing in St Andrew

A St Andrew man and woman have gone missing under different circumstances.

The man is 59-year-old Winston Smith of Iron River in Golden Spring. He has not been seen since Thursday, January 19.

The police say Smith, who is of dark complexion, medium build and about five feet six inches tall, was last seen in the community of Mount Pleasant about 12:15 a.m. He was wearing a blue plaid shirt, brown pants and a pair of black shoes. 

Relatives and friends have not been able to reach him since Thursday.

Similarly, friends and family members of 19-year-old Machalay Bowley of Pear Hill district in Stony Hill, St Andrew have not been able to locate her for more than a week.

She went missing on January 13.

Bowley was last seen at home about 1:00 p.m. She was dressed in a denim blouse, denim shorts and a pair of white slippers. Efforts to contact her have proved futile.

The police are asking anyone with the information on the whereabouts of either Smith or Bowley to contact the Stony Hill Police at 942-2223, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
