Contractor General Dirk Harrison has disclosed that his office’s investigation of the $427.9 million used car contract for the police force is now complete and a report is being prepared.

Harrison gave the update last night after speaking at a Kiwanis club meeting in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

He says once completed the report will be submitted to Cabinet, which will decide whether to table it in the Parliament.

Harrison would not give a timeline for completion of the report.

The probe by the Office of the Contractor General was triggered by the failure of contractor, O'Brien's International, to meet the deadline to deliver 200 used vehicles for the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
