Health Ministry assessing impact of med tech's strike on public health facilities

The Ministry of Health says it's assessing the impact of the strike by medical technologists on the island's public health facilities.
When contacted this morning, Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Jacqueline Bisesor McKenzie, said health ministry officials were locked in a meeting assessing the situation.

The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre understands that the Blood Bank, The National Public Health Laboratory and the Kingston Public Hospital lab are now closed as a result of the strike.
