Three killed in fiery North Coast Highway crash

Three people have been confirmed dead and six others injured in a major collision along the North Coast Highway in Duncans, Trelawny.

The crash happened shortly before 2 o'clock.

It involved a Toyota Wish heading towards St Ann and a Nissan Tiida going in the opposite direction.

The Tiida immediately burst into flames on impact with its two occupants trapped inside.

They were burnt beyond recognition.

A woman travelling in the Toyota Wish also died as a result of the impact.

Six other passengers in the Toyota Wish received varying injuries.
