LASCO partners with JFB for Fire and Life Safety Awareness Week

Fire and Life Safety Awareness Week is observed annually by the Jamaica Fire Brigade (JFB) as a period for highlighting fire and safety principles and practices that are pertinent to the improvement of fire and life safety island wide.

It also provides an opportunity for the public to obtain information on the roles and responsibilities of the JFB as well as the activities the organisation is involved in.

At the recent media launch, held at the Spanish Court Hotel's Valencia Suite, LASCO Distributors Limited, well known for its commitment to nation building, education, the environment and bolstering Jamaica's prestigious civil servants, made a commitment of $300,000 to the JFB in helping to ensure that this educational initiative could touch all corners of the island.
