#JaSeniorTrials: Blake makes amazing comeback, wins 200m; Facey tops females

Men's 200m: 1st Blake, 20.29; 2nd Ashmeade, 20.45; 3rd Forte, 20.45

In an amazing turnaround after years of injury issues, Yohan Blake secured a sprint double at the JAAA/Supreme Ventures National Senior Championships with a 20.29 seconds win in the 200m final at the National Stadium.

Blake darted off the curve in front and held his lead to the line with Nickel Ashmeade finishing second in 20.45, the same time registered by third placed finisher Julian Forte.

Warren Weir, the 2012 Olympic bronze and 2013 World Championships silver medal winner was fourth in 20.50.

Meanwhile, with World Championships silver medal winner and Freshly minted national 100m champion Elaine Thompson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce not turning up for the 200m start, Simone Facey made the most of the opportunity to take first place in 22.65.

Veronica Campbell-Brown was second in 22.80 second with Kali Davis-White, 22.96 finishing third.
