Caymanas Track operations resume tomorrow

Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited, operators of Caymanas Track, has announced the re-opening of the main track, effective tomorrow.

The company said in a press release on Thursday evening that the track will be opened for two days – Friday and Saturday. This, it says, is a sign of good faith, pending the outcome of discussions with all stakeholders in the horse racing industry.

The decision was taken in a meeting with various racing stakeholders, which Supreme Ventures says was with "an overall aim to create and retain employment in the racing community at all levels".

Supreme Ventures says it is still in touch with stakeholders regarding the issues affecting the horse racing industry over the past few weeks.

The company says it hopes that the discussions will be fruitful and to the approval of all stakeholders.
