Reggae artiste Khago has been leading the FIWI Choice charts with his new hit single, Fresh and Clean, produced by San Cofa records on the 12 Furlong Rhythm.
This is the second number one for the artiste, after his single Caan Cool in 2009. The versatile enter-tainer also holds the number five spot on the Reggae Trail top-10 countdown with his next single, Daddy From Yu Gone, on the Fava Squad Label.
His single, Naah Sell Out, which addresses issues of betrayal and envy, is currently getting rotations on the airwaves and in dances, and he predicts that it is going to be his next big song.
The artiste is currently working on new projects in the studio, as well as doing some production of his own through his own label, Khago Records.
"I just finished working on a song, featuring DJ Sunshine called Can Feel You Breathing," he said.
Khago also said he has interests in developing other artistes, "a wi buil' music enuh, an' di music bigger dan wi, so wi have to help others," he told The Gleaner.
With shows like Manchester Fiesta, Irie Fm Road Tour and Rebel Salute already under his belt, Khago, managed by Bankeylus Giscobe, former manager of Shabba Ranks, Patra and Mad Cobra, is set to make waves this summer.
The artiste is set to kick off the summer with performances on Bling Dawg's Summer Jam July 10, and Mi Waah My Own on July 16.
