And so my dears, as the Christmas rush approaches, Sagittarians say adieu and Capricorns say welcome, and with gusto as it is the season of celebration!

The ultra-fab Sophia Max-Brown; the beautiful hotelier Carol Bourke of the new Jewel Resort, near Ocho Rios; the affable general manager of the Spanish-owned Fiesta Hotel in Hanover, Dimitris Kosvogiannis; the lovely Thelma HoHill; Romario Similion; Dwight Berley, from Kemps Hill in Clarendon, now residing in Jersey City, New Jersey; Wayne Simm, in Birmingham England; who all celebrate their birthday tomorrow on the very auspicious Christmas Day.

On Sunday the 19th noted lawyer Lloyd Stanbury, celebrated in Florida; Barrington Burke-Green, celebrated in New York; and Matthew Buchannan also celebrated in New York. The day after: Chris Berry; the lovely Anna Simmonds; the beautiful Sandy Bolton; the happening Kamla Forbes-Lynch and Phillip Cotton in North Carolina all shared a birthday! And the lovely Dawn McLean, celebrated on Tuesday the 21st.

And heartfelt congrats to Transport Minster Mike Henry and his simply stunning wife, Dawn, who both celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary on Wednesday. Heartfelt congrats also, to Johnny March and his fabulous wife, former Miss Jamaica Fashion Model, Simone Walters March, now residents of Florida, who celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. And my darlings, happy days are here again, at least for those in receipt of invitations, as the much anticipated annual Christmas Eve smasheroni - the Pulse annual Christmas Eve shindig returns to Villa Ronai, tonight, and it promises to be all that!!

Then my darlings, with the major social movers and shakers opting not to host any high-profile New Years' celebration, next week, the almighty rush is now on to secure bookings for the fab and happening properties on the coast, with Negril, especially Hedonism II, being the destination of choice! In Ocho Rios, the destination of choice is definitely Couples Sans Souci and Sandals Royal Caribbean. In Montego Bay, however, it's all about the elegant Round Hill. For the ultra chic, the preferred hot spots are Goldeneye, in St Mary; The Caves, in Negril and Jakes, in Treasure Beach! And for the international jet-setting movie stars, starlets, models and quiet moguls, Port Antonio is the preferred destination, with the oh-so-fine GeeJam Boutique hotel being the preferred get-away!!
