... Model walks for Calvin Klein for a fourth time, enjoys the eye of top designers

Saint International top model Shena Moulton firmly stamped her mark on the fashion world during the last quarter of 2011. Moulton's blistering schedule in November and December proved her mettle, and she was the only Jamaican model during the the most recent pre-fall collection.

She appeared for the highly selective Calvin Klein runway shows, taking her tally of showings for the designer to four.

This solidifies her status as one of Calvin Klein's 'It' girls, a description not often given to black models.

"In three weeks (November to December) Shena shot Italian Vogue in Milan, Playing Fashion Magazine in London, Grey Magazine and Marie Claire in Paris, and Interview Magazine in New York,' explained Deiwght Peters, owner of Saint International and the man credited with discovering Moulton and guiding her international career.

Impressive season

Moulton had an impressive season. That season only began in September since she only ended high school in June last year.

For the spring/summer collections, she walked for almost 30 designers in New York, Milan and Paris as she opted to miss London shows that season.

Anne Valerie Hash, Viviene Westwood, Hermes, Paco Rabanne, Costume National, Gianfranco Ferre, Jil Sander, Tracey Reece, Custo Barcelona, Marc by Marc (for Marc Jacobs), Naeem Khan, Vivienne Tam, Custo Barcelona, St John, Monique Lhuillier Bridal, and Tadashi Shoji are just some of the designers who chose Moulton.

According to Peters, Moulton's sleek body lines at the regal height of 180 cm (5ft 11in), supported by her personality makes her a model of choice among the leading designers.

In July, Moulton walked for the also highly-selective Couture shows in Paris, walking for the legendary house of Christian Dior. She was also selected by powerful fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier to shoot the Look Book for Dior.

By the end of 2012, Moulton wants to be among the highly regarded models.com list of top-50 models of the world.

"I am working with Shena's best interest at heart to make her a legendary and respected model throughout the world, who can enjoy a long-term career," said Peters.

Moulton's career is managed by Saint and a team of leading international agencies including MUSE (New York), Models1 (London), Elite (Paris and Milan).

Peters also said that preparations are also in motion for Moulton's career to go beyond the runway, but refused to divulge any further information.

Moulton will be among the cast of Saint models who have been invited to walk in the high-glitz couture shows which will start the international womenswear collections in Paris in January 2012.
