Christine Bell dies - Remembered for professionalism, kindness
Actress and public relations practitioner Christine Bell died on Friday night at the Andrews Memorial Hospital, Hope Road, St Andrew. She was 59 years old.
Bell's involvement in media began in 1972 at the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation, where she worked as a junior news editor. She was trained at the British Broadcasting Corporation and Miami Dade Community College. As a public relations practitioner, she ran Innovative Ideas along with Carmen Patterson. However, it was her work on stage and screen that brought Bell squarely into the public eye, in a number of stage productions and the long-running Royal Palm Estate series.
