Clarendon College celebrates its 70th

Clarendon College will this year be celebrating its 70th anniversary with a number of activities during its 'Homecoming' week commencing Sunday with a church service at the Salem United Church in Chapelton.

Guest preacher is the Rev Oliver Daley.

The service will be followed by a brunch on the school grounds.

Homecoming week events

July 24: All past students and their families are invited to a fun day at Sunburst Farms in St Catherine (near Bernard Lodge).

July 25: Day of work on the school grounds, making repairs to bathroom facilities and any other minor repairs that can be facilitated with the limited resources.

July 26: Past Students' Association will be hosting the play God's Way at the Pantry Playhouse.

July 27: Beach link-up at Somerset Falls in Portland. Transportation will be provided with an overall cost of $3,000, inclusive of entry to the falls and light refreshment.

July 28: 70th anniversary banquet at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel. Cost is $5,000.
