Stylish! - Honeymoon Shows had flair
Transformed into an all-white showcase inside The Wyndham hotel, the exclusive black-tie event, dubbed 'The Honeymoon Shows', brought patrons out to experience the offerings of Kingston Bridal Week. While the stylish gents donned fitted tuxedos, creating style statements throughout the venue, many of their female counterparts chose to ditch the gowns for more elegant cocktail dresses, adding a certain flair and finesse to the invite-only event.
The doors to the grand exhibition room at The Wyndham Kingston were opened at 6 p.m., marking the first day of the consumer/exhibitor shows and Bridal Fashion Shows. The Honeymoon Shows event went beyond the expected bridal fashion and showcased the fashion needs after the wedding for the perfect honeymoon.
The show was opened with rising Jamaica fashion designer Ashley Martin, who showcased a special 30-piece collection, followed by noted United Kingdom lingerie designer Rebecca Ansah, then swimwear designer Lubica, and then a special bridal presentation by main sponsors of the event, 'Petals & Promises'.
As the curtain came down on the fashion showcase minutes after 10 p.m., the stylishly clad patrons made their way out of the all-white runway show area to continue the night's offerings.
