Lubica's fashion days in Slovakia

Fashion designer Lubica Slovak left the island on Friday for her homeland Slovakia to participate in one of the most anticipated fashion events on Slovakia's social calendar, 'Bratlislavske Modne Dni' which translates in English to 'Bratislava Fashion Days.'

The three-day event will feature Slovakian designers showcasing their collections. A total of 19 pieces were chosen from Lubica's 'Beyond' collection which was inspired by her fashion film and then tweaked with other new pieces.

According to Lubica in an interview with Flair before she left, "It's my first time showing in Slovakia but that's where I'm from and I'm super nervous. My collection is very different from what Slovakian designers are coming with because I design mostly resort wear, but they seem to love my pieces." She continued: "There are Slovakians that come to me for pieces while they are vacationing in Jamaica because they like what they see."

The Flair got an exclusive look into her newly tweaked collection that she will showcase come Thursday. Best of luck!
