Who knew vegetarian could be so divine?
With the vibrant colours and delectable aroma that greet you when you enter Natural Touch Vegetarian restaurant, you will forget that all they serve is real authentic vegan food.
Who knew vegetarian could smell so divine?
According to proprietor Davine Moving, their meals are packed with flavour. "We use a lot of herbs and spices to make it very exciting. No boring food here," she notes. Just two years at its current location, in Orchid Village plaza on Barbican Road, they are one of the newcomers to this year's Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week.
And what can you expect from this Nyam and Scram eatery? How about a cream of pumpkin soup with vegetarian lasagne, plantain stew and sweet potato and pumpkin pie? Now that's a combination that will have even carnivores salivating.
They are famous for their lasagne and tofu because of the variety of ways in which they do them - sweet and sour, sorrel barbecue, hot and spicy. You name it, they do it.
But if you don't feel for a full meal during Restaurant Week, you can opt for the equally delicious veggie special wrap, which is also accompanied by cream of pumpkin soup. Chunk, tofu and broad bean in a sorrel chutney.
But whatever you choose, it will be the best-tasting thing that's so good for you.
