Pandemonium hits Jamaica for Carnival 2013 today. The promise to deliver a true carnival experience is coming to life with the staging of the first-ever Pandemonium event at the Golf Academy, in New Kingston.

It features a cast of the top soca performers in 2013 and of all time. Carnival's true king, Machel Montano, performs live with his 2013 hits such as The Fog, She Ready and his Soca Monarch favourite, Float. He is joined by nine-time Road March King, SuperBlue. to create utter pandemonium. The two tied for the power Soca Monarch title at Trinidad carnival this year and will perform together for the first time since.

Joining the all-star soca cast will be Patrice Roberts and Farmer Nappy, accompanying Machel along with the HD band.

Pandemonium will give Jamaica's carnival line-up a muchneeded boost of new energy. Fusing reggae and soca for a unique experience, international recording and Grammy winning artist, Shaggy, will join the line-up with other local surprise guest artistes.

Shaggy and Machel Montano collaborations have delivered soca hits such as Toro Toro and Whining Time.

The Appleton, LIME and BioLife-sponsored event is all-inclusive of food and beverage all night. So the carnival experience will come to life with both Jamaican and Trinidadian food from Doubles to jerk pork. KFC and Pizza Hut will also be on hand, showcasing a host of new products for free.

The grand finale will feature the explosion of coloured powder for the first time ever at a carnival event in Jamaica. Recreating the true essence of Carnival 2013, patrons are promised to be awed by the magical experience of this festival of colour, excitement and pandemonium.

Patrons can also take refuge in 'powder-free' zones or stay in the excitement, with complimentary ponchos and masks.

According to Shaggy, this will be the ultimate carnival experience for soca fans.

"This will be the carnival experinece of a lifetime. It's myself and Machel coming together to create an unforgetable experience, with touches of reggae here and there. All the artistes are in the island and it's gonna be a good time. People are welcoming this event," Shaggy said.
