DuQuesnay lands auto job at ATL
For fourteen years, Bruce DuQuesnay has worked with the Jamaica Broilers Group, racking up expertise in fish and poultry production.
In less than six weeks, he is headed for a totally new job in the auto trading sector as operations manager at ATL Automotive Limited, a subsidiary of the ATL Group.
It's a newly created post, which will focus on "streamlining the logistics between all the brands of vehicles that ATL Automotive represents here in Jamaica," said Wayne Cummings, the director of business processes and administration for Sandals Resorts International and ATL Group.
ATL Automotive was formed in 1997. Its operations span dealerships for Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Range Rover, Audi and Volkswagen.
DuQuesnay joined Jamaica Broilers in 1999, first working with subsidiary Best Dressed Foods Limited where he was in charge of marketing the Reggae Jammins brand. In 2002, he switched to Aquaculture Jamaica Limited to oversee plant operations at the fish farming and processing. In 2004, he was named plant superintendent of JBG's Best Dressed Chicken facility.
Cummings said that as operations manager at ATL Automotive, DuQuesnay will guide expansion for the auto group.
"This position has critical components of administrative oversight and is expected to assist the company and the senior directors with our ever-expanding business opportunities," Cummings said.
