Telecoms company, LIME officially launched the new BlackBerry Z10 smartphone last Thursday and announced an offer that will see three lucky customers from across the region jetting off to see Alicia Keys in concert in Prague, Czech Republic.

LIME debuted the BlackBerry Z10 at a mega-launch hosted at the Oxford Towers in Kingston attended by representatives from Canadian-firm BlackBerry, corporate customers and celebrity guests.

The company also announced that the new 'smarter phone' would be available from LIME on April 23 and will be introduced at a special one-day price offer.

At the event, LIME explained that the BlackBerry Z10 running on LIME's data network makes for a smarter experience for customers.

"As Jamaica's value leader, we are always first to give customers the world's most-sought-after devices. They also expect that we will give them the best packages and service that will allow them to work and play at a cost they can afford," said Garry Sinclair, CEO, LIME Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.

"The BlackBerry Z10 on our data network will allow them to do just that and our customers know that LIME is clearly the smarter choice," added Sinclair.

He said details on the new smartphone will be shared at a later date.
