Its a Boy!!

Luvs, the fashionable season is upon us, with Caribbean Fashion Week just days away. So what better time to announce that Jamaica's first couple of fashion - Kingsley Cooper and long-time companion, the fabulous Romae Gordon, are now proud parents!

They welcomed their first child together, Cole Cooper, on Wednesday at 7:43 a.m, in New York.

The news is that both mother and child are doing quite well and dad is totally elated, it's now all systems go for Caribbean Fashion Week 2013, so dears, it's time to strike that pose, as y'all never know just when Vogue might be watching or come a-calling!

And my dears, speaking of beautiful people, well the place the beautiful people chill these days is the charmingly fab Winebar and Bistro-Uncorked located in Sovereign North, in Barbican.

Dears, the place is simply buzzing most evenings, but especially on Friday evenings. It was there that this here scribe spotted the fabulously glowing Nicole Haughton, last Friday. She looked positively fab and then some. And little wonder as Miss Haughton was sporting a fabulous engagement ring. Her beau, the dapper Matthew Wright, was by her side, he, too, a picture of bliss.

Basking in love

No firm date yet for the nuptials, but wait for it, as the couple are indeed hooked on each other and simply basking in the glow of their love!

And speaking of the fashionable and the fabulous, luvs, belated wishes to the ultra-fabulous Lois Samuels, who celebrated her birthday yesterday, Thursday, May 16, at her New York home, with family and friends.

Celebrating tomorrow, the 18th, will be: Edward Barbar; the charming Dawn Spence-Heron; the lovely Guadalupe Sanchez; the lovely Pauline Henry-Watt; and Trinidadian model Jason Daniel.

Come Sunday the 19th, those celebrating will include: Laurence Broderick; the gorgeous Theresa Heitmann; the lovely Sharon Denise Tulloch; and the fab model Tennith Atterbury, now in Florida.

On Monday the 20th, the celebrations will move into high gear as: Lloyd B. Smith; the legendary Bert Rose, of NDTC fame; the legendary Tyrone Downie, of Wailers fame; the charmingly fab Carol Charlton; Lester Rhooms; the lovely Driena Palmer; the affable Dwight Bellanfante; Donneth Reid, now in Nassau, Bahamas; the lovely Deznie Matthews, now in Atlanta, Georgia; the fab Janet Durrant, formerly of Linstead, St Catherine, now resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Also the lovely Venice Brown, also formerly of Linstead, St Catherine, now residing in New Jersey; and the fab Bernice Glenn Caldwell, north coast habitué and master stylist of San Clemente, California, currently cruising the Mediterranean - will all make it one fine day of birthday celebrations.
