KIA Motors Jamaica is one of the partners of Somerset Crest Inc, 957 Music and Urban Angels Music Group, which will be helping to present Jamaica's first staging of Young and in Charge today.

KIA has been able to sell 1,000 general-admission tickets, at the discounted cost of $1,500, exclusively at the motor company's Jamaican home, 2 Chelsea Avenue.

Young and in Charge is headlined by Mindless Behavior, the American urban-boy band outfit, that has recorded singles that have sold millions.

The event will be hosted by ZJ Sparks and will be held at Liguanea Club at 1 p.m.

In addition to Mindless Behavior, patrons of Young and in Charge will see performances by 2011 X-Factor winner Melanie Amaro, Tifa, QQ, Denyque, Jah Bouks and others.

KIA motors will also host Melanie Amaro at its dealership for an exclusive meet-and-greet prior to the event.

FAMILY VALUES

Dwight Moore, CEO of KIA Motors Jamaica, said "Our company has a strong belief in family values, and we see Young and in Charge as a great way for Jamaican families to experience entertainment of an international calibre together. This sponsorship allows us to support an opportunity for Jamaicans to experience a world-class musical presentation."

The concert venue at Liguanea Club will boast a KIA Motors lounge to cater for parents and guardians in an adult setting, while children and teens in attendance partake in games and live entertainment.

The lounge will reflect the adult contemporary R&B music that Melanie Amaro has become renowned, worldwide, for.

Persons can purchase tickets for the event at Touchtix.net or Touchstone outlets at Acropolis Barbican Centre, Bookophilia, Petcom Dunrobin, and Xtras Mall Plaza.

Pre-sold ticket prices are: $2,500, $3,500, and $5,000 for general, VIP, and ultra VIP, respectively.

At the gate, it's $3,000 for general admission and $4,000 for VIP.
