Pay Attention, Kingston and St Andrew's newest hip hop event, is now partnering with entertainment cable station Hype TV ahead of its next staging on Saturday, November 30, inside Club Indulge at South Beach Café.

Local hip hop artistes Miguel James, France Nooks, NRG, and Illicit King are slated to perform as well as appear on Hype TV in frequent spots leading up to the show. Music will also be provided by resident DJ, Inztinkz, and Fatalic.

"We're excited about this new partnership. Hype TV has often supported the music videos of local hip hop artistes, and with them now promoting Pay Attention, this will be added exposure for our brand, and by extension, the Jamaican hip hop scene," said Raquel Allen, Pay Attention's public relations manager.

"This is something fresh. It's an underground community with a long history and a lot of talent. It just hasn't had enough exposure over the years, but we're going to change that," said Johann Dawes, Hype TV's chief executive officer.

Gates for the event open at 9 p.m. and showtime is at 10:30 p.m.

Admission at the gate will be $600, while presold tickets cost $500 and are available at Nanook Enterprises, 20 Burlington Avenue. Ladies are 2-for-1 until showtime.

Pay Attention has been held since April 2012 and fans and potential patrons can follow Pay Attention on Twitter @PayAttentionJA or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/payattentionja.
