Your parents and grandparents survived without certain technology, so do you think the need for technology is real or created?

Yori France: Technology itself was created but the need for it is undeniably real. Technology plays an important role when it comes to various aspects of living, for example, health care. From chemotherapy cancer treatment to a basic x-ray for a broken bone. The one thing that drives us as human beings is survival and as a result of this need to survive, technology was born.

Alrick Telfer: It depends, but in my field of work certain technologies provide solutions to very real needs. With my business, I need to be able to have meetings with clients all over the world at different times. Some of these meetings would require a face-to-face conversation. Back in my parents' days, if you were thinking of having a face-to-face conversation with a business partner, they would have to come to you or you go to them. Without today's innovations in videoconferencing such as Hangouts, Skype, etc, it would be a costly and time-consuming venture. Time is of the essence, and every day that passes by could cost you money on a deal. To me, the need for better and more efficient communication is a real need.
