CPJ on the table

Make this juicy CPJ ham your centrepiece this Christmas.

Its that time of year again when all tables have one staple - ham. Available at retailers/supermarkets islandwide, CPJ has a ham for every occasion.

Ham Cooking Instructions

1. Heat oven to 325F.

2. Place ham in shallow roasting pan. Quarter and half hams should be cooked flat/face side down. Whole ham should be cooked fat side up. Cover with aluminum foil.

3. Bake at 325F for approximately 10 to 15 minutes per pound until heated through. Do not overcook. If desired, glaze ham,following instructions below.

Christmas Glaze Recipes

Pineapple-Orange Dijon Glaze

1 bone-in ham (precooked)

1 1/4 cups brown sugar

1/3 cup pineapple juice

1/3 cup orange juice

1/3 cup honey

2 tablespoons orange zest

2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Glazing the Ham

1. Stir remaining ingredients together in a saucepan.

2. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer 10 minutes.

3. Remove foil from ham.

4. Brush the ham with the glaze; continue doing so every 10 minutes while baking for another 30 minutes, uncovered.

5. Bake, uncovered, at 325F for 10 minutes.
