International Reggae ambassador Duane Stephenson will be heating up the stage on Friday at the 21st staging of Rebel Salute, one of Jamaica's premier music festivals.

Stephenson, who has been busy finalising work on his upcoming album, Dangerously Roots, which is due out in the first quarter of this year, will perform alongside other headline acts, including Damian 'Jr Gong' Marley, Chuck Fenda, Luciano, Kabaka Pyramid and Bugle, to name a few.

The two-day festival will take place on the lawns of the Richmond Park Estate in Priory, St Ann and, according to event organiser Tony Rebel, more than 40 local acts will take the stage.

"Outside of an extensive line-up of more than 40 artistes, Rebel Salute will also offer camping similar to other major festivals internationally, coupled with a better ticketing system to patrons locally and overseas," said Rebel.

Currently promoting his new single Rasta For I, Stephenson continues to climb international charts, moving up two places to No 15 on the New York Foundation Radio Top 25 Reggae Chart.
