Popular media personality and comedian Oral Tracey is gearing up for the fourth installation of his Let Loose Comedy Show. As a means of distinction and creating a difference, Tracey and his Out Box Entertainment team have their sights set on making the show a two-part series this year.
The decision follows the success of last year's staging at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston on August 4.
This year, Tracey is hoping to have two shows; one in Kingston in August and the other in Montego Bay before year end.
Last year's acts included the dynamic comedic duo, Ity and Fancy Cat, Professor Nuts, Dr Michael Abrahams, and Tracey.
Known for stirring up controversy with his feedback on topical issues, the host admits that he had to cut his performance short last year, but says he intends to make up for that in the August show.
"No topic will be out of bounds. Last year, mi did want talk up some more things but I had to limit it because of time, so this year I definitely want to let loose and talk about some of the things I can't say on TV."
With thoughts of improvement at the forefront of his plans, Tracey revealed that better time management will be key at this year's staging.
"We definitely want to be more efficient. We are working on improving the production quality and will try and manage our time better."
He also revealed that similar to the 2013 edition, Let Loose will again treat its audience to giveaways courtesy of their sponsors. Tickets will be available at Cuddyz Sports Bar, Genus Pharmacy in Portmore, and York Pharmacy at a cost of $1,500 presold and $2,000 at the gate.
Simon Crosskill made his stand-up comedy debut last year and Tracey revealed that he wants to use the show as a medium to give another media personality their stand-up comedy debut.
The comedic TV presenter told The Gleaner he is still having discussions with persons he hopes to book for the show but says guests should expect another bellyfull of laughter.
"What we try to offer is a different flavour and a full entertainment package, so look out for a variety in the guest list."
Tracey says DVDs of last year's show is now available islandwide at Fontana Pharmacy, York Pharmacy and Genus Pharmacy in Portmore at a cost of $700.
This year's show is again sponsored by Cal's Tomato Ketchup.
