Property tax payments due tomorrow

Tax Administration Jamaica is advising Property owners that Property Tax payments for the 2012 -2013 period are due tomorrow.



It says payments may be made in half-yearly instalments on April 1 and October 1 or in quarterly instalments on April 1, July 1, October 1 and January 1.



But it says any property tax paid after April 30 will attract a 10 per cent penalty.



And Tax Administration Jamaica is reminding property owners that payments may be made using its Tax Portal at www.jamaicatax-online.gov.jm; electronic drop boxes at select tax offices; or at its 29 tax offices island wide.



For additional convenience, taxpayers are also able to make payments on Saturdays at the Portmore Tax Office.
