Negril hotelier murdered

Seventy-one-year-old Negril hotelier, Theodore Plummer was murdered at his home in Cauldwell, Hanover yesterday.




Plummer was the owner of the Roots Bamboo hotel.



The police say Plummer was stabbed several times and later wrapped in a sheet by his attackers.



His Toyota Probox motorcar was also stolen.



Plummer's body was discovered around 5:15 p.m yesterday by a friend who went in search of him at his home.



It is believed that his attackers entered his house by cutting through the roof.



Plummers' death brings to 22 the number of murders in the parish of Hanover this year.



Fifteen people were killed in the parish last year.
