Currency rates update October 17: $105.16 to US$1

The Jamaican dollar reached a new low today, trading at $105.16 to the United States dollar.
In the last 13 days, the dollar depreciated by $1.11, having reached $104.05 to the United States dollar on October 4.
The average selling rate of the Canadian dollar was $102.20, which translates into a gain of $0.11 during the 13-day period.
Today the British Pound Sterling sold for $169.83, which means a loss of $1.09 during the same period.
The average selling rate of the euro was $141.52, a gain of $0.14 when compared with the October 4 rate.
