JUTC to roll out more buses for new school term

Published: Saturday January 4, 2014 | 9:33 am Comments 0

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) says it will be increasing the number of buses operating for the new school term on Monday.

The company says it will be rolling out 370 buses on the various routes in the Kingston Metropolitan Transport Region.

It says the 370 buses represent an increase of 20 over the number that the JUTC had on the road for the start of the new school year in September 2013.

The JUTC’s Managing Director, Collin Campbell says the increase in the number of buses this school term is further indication of the improvement in the service of the JUTC.

And he says there are further improvements to come.
