JUTC opens smarter card processing centre

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) will be operating a students’ Smarter Card distribution centre at the Half-Way Tree transport centre today.
The centre will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. to further facilitate Smarter Cards distribution specifically for students.
It will be open to students who submitted application forms for Smarter cards to their schools but did not receive the cards; those who received their Smarter Cards but need to add money to them; and students who have not yet submitted an application for a Smarter Card.
The center will be located on the top floor of the transport centre.
Starting tomorrow, passengers will need a Smarter Card to access concessionary fares on JUTC buses.
