The former Australian netball coach, Jill McIntosh, has returned to Jamaica for a second stint as Technical Director of Netball Jamaica in less than three years.

The 58-year-old McIntosh will serve in the position for five months.

Netball Jamaica says McIntosh will be responsible for taking the senior netball team to the Commonwealth Games, which will be held in Glasgow, Scotland from July 23-August 3.

McIntosh will also work directly with the coaches in the Berger Elite League and the other national teams.

Meanwhile, Netball Jamaica has officially appointed Minneth Reynolds as head coach of the senior team and Roy Thomas as fitness trainer.

Reynolds was officially appointed head coach, a month following the departure of Oberon Pitterson-Nattie.

Netball Jamaica and Pitterson-Nattie failed to agree on a new contract.
