Police have charged five men in relation to an alleged organised theft ring accused of carrying out coordinated attacks on businesses across Trelawny, stealing goods and cash worth more than $20 million.

The men were arrested and charged by the Trelawny police with being part of a criminal organisation in connection with incidents that occurred between December 5, 2025, and April 11, 2026, according to a police statement issued on Wednesday.

Charged are:

1. Kardell Williams, 47, of Mammee Bay, St Ann

2. Decarclova Lewis, 39, a shopkeeper of Windsor Road, St Ann’s Bay, St Ann

3. Franlyn Crosse, 46, of Henlon, Norwood, St James

4. Omar Anthony Collman, 33, of Coral Gardens, Montego Bay, St James

5. Randy Murray, 40, of Farm Pen, Westmoreland

Police say the men are alleged to be part of a criminal network that orchestrated a series of coordinated attacks on multiple establishments across the parish.

On April 11, the accused were intercepted during a police operation and reportedly found in possession of goods and cash in Jamaican, United States, Canadian, and British pound sterling currencies.

Investigators say the men were taken into custody and later charged following interviews.
