Jamaican poet and creative thinker Errol Bean has released his latest book Elevated Livity: Poetic Reasoning & Nuggets of Wisdom, which recently reached #1 New Release status on Amazon.

The book invites readers into a transformative exploration of poetry, philosophy, and self-reflection – grounded in decades of creative expression and spiritual insight.

JOURNEY BORN FROM EXPERIENCE

Inspired by a transformative prostate cancer diagnosis in 2022, Bean consolidates over four decades of literary, musical, and life experience into a moving and purposeful collection. Through autobiographical sketches and poetic reasoning, Elevated Livity explores themes of cultural identity, gender justice, societal transformation, love, friendship, success, and spiritual harmony, offering readers both challenge and comfort on their own journey towards higher living.

Endorsements

Praised by Professor Diana Fox for its visionary take on gender justice and Caribbean futurism, the book disrupts limiting ideologies in favour of equity, freedom, and collective upliftment. Additionally, forewords by Wyvolyn Gager and Clyde McKenzie offer rich perspectives on the power of Bean’s voice and vision.

CONTINUUM OF CONSCIOUS CREATION

Bean’s literary path began with A Flower Blooms (1998), an anthology of poetry, and Cynthia Schloss: An Inspiration of Love & Friendship (2001), a moving tribute to the late Jamaican songbird. His creative evolution – through ministry, music, and mentorship – has culminated in Elevated Livity, which now garners global attention through its Amazon recognition.

The book’s heart beats strongly in its INterlude, a tribute to Bean’s Facebook community, and the collective spirit that carried him through the solitude of the COVID-19 pandemic. His personal mantra, Always Be In Divine Energy (A.B.I.D.E.), serves as both compass and call, inviting readers to live with clarity, wisdom, and purpose.
