JSE crowdfunding platform postponed
Jamaica Stock Exchange says its crowdfunding platform that was set for launch at this year’s capital markets conference will be unveiled at a later date.
JSE marketing manager Neville Ellis told Gleaner Business there was still work to be done on the platform before it goes live.
The JSE had spoken of the project ahead of the conference and included its launch on the agenda of the three-day event, which wrapped up on Thursday evening. It was meant to be the final event on the programme of activities with JSE general manager Marlene Street Forrest as the headline speaker.
The JSE 12th annual regional investment and capital markets conference was held under the theme 'Global Investment Horizon: Our Options and Future' from January 24-26.
