Stocks Round Up | JSE Combined Index plunges

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index plunged on Thursday with an advance/decline ratio of 19/57.

The index sank by 21,152.18 points or 4.67 per cent to close at 432,210.62.

The JSE Main Market Index lost 21,798.25points or 4.73 per cent to close at 460,484.22 while the Junior Market Index was down 102.35 points or 3.71 per cent to close at 2,656.41.

The JSE USD Equities Index was down 1.79 points or 0.82 per cent to close at 218.90.

Eppley Caribbean Property Fund up 10.69 per cent to close at $ 41.51

Sagicor Select Funds-Financial up 7.14 per cent closing at $ 1.05

Losers 

Sterling Investments (USD) down 25.96 per cent to close at $ 0.02
Radio Jamaica down 14.79 per cent to close at $ 1.44
Salada Foods down 14.71 per cent to close at $ 29.00
Berger Paints down 13.38 per cent to close at $ 12.56
Seprod down 12.01 per cent to close at $ 44.10.

Market volume

63.10 million units valued at over $ 307.54 million.

Volume leaders were Sagicor Select Financial followed by Wigton and Sagicor Select Manufacturing & Distribution.
