Stocks Round Up | Salada today's top advancer, Ciboney leads decliners

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index bounced back on Wednesday, reversing this week’s losses.

The moderate trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 42/28.

The JSE Combined Index advanced by 2040.73 points or 0.52 per cent to close at 395,189.03.

The JSE Main Market Index was up 2,055.33 points or 0.52 per cent to close at 394,659.55 while the Junior Market Index advanced 13.95 points or 0.47 per cent to close at 2,982.95

The JSE USD Equities Index advanced 3.84 points or 1.91 per cent, closing at 204.40

Knutsford Express down 8.17 per cent closing at $5.51
Jamaica Producers down 6.66 per cent closing at $20.73

Market volume

Some 31.2 million units valued at over $167 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were Derrimon Trading, followed by Trans Jamaican Highway and Wigton.
