Justice is served by any means necessary in Lionsgate's Backtrace which follows a lone surviving thief from a bank heist gone wrong, who is sprung from a high-security facility. Following his seventh year of incarceration, he is coerced by an inmate and a ward doctor to break out of prison, and is administered an experimental drug that forces him to relive the life he's forgotten. MacDonald must now elude a local detective, a toughened FBI agent, and the drug's dangerous side effects to recover the stolen money.

Written by Mike Maples and directed by Brian A. Miller, Backtrace stars Academy Award nominee Sylvester Stallone, Ryan Guzman and Matthew Modine.
