IRAWMA nominations revealed; 7 nods for Koffee

Salutes 50 years of glorious music of dancehall

Under the theme Reggae Rise, the best of the years 2021 and 2022 will be celebrated at the 40th Anniversary of IRAWMA (International Reggae and World Music Awards) which will be held in and also broadcast from Jamaica on Sunday, May 7.

The nominees in 32 categories, as well as the list of special awardees, were revealed at a press conference last Thursday evening and voting is now open online at

Koffee leads with seven nominations: Emperor of Reggae & World Music Bob Marley Award for Entertainer of the Year; Toots Hibbert Award for Best Album/CD; Best Female Dancehall/Rap Artiste; Best Female Vocalist; Peter Tosh Award for Recording Artiste of the Year; Best Music Video for the collab with Protoje, Switch It Up and Best Collaborated Song (Reggae with R&B, Rap, Latin, etc.) for Vroom – The FaNaTix (ft Koffee, Idris Elba, Lil Tjay, Davido, Moelogo).
