Amid carnival revelry, an ATV stunt rider collides with a Westmoreland woman's car on Hope Road on Sunday.

In the midst of carnival revelry, a Westmoreland woman is nursing wounds after an ATV stunt rider collided with her vehicle on Hope Road in St Andrew.

“I was turning off Ardenne Road when the rider came across the road while doing a stunt and ran right into me,” said Salamgie Bahabour in a frantic state.

She could hardly hold back her tears as she recalled the incident.

“I’m just visiting from Westmoreland for a church convention. I don’t have anyone here with me except a few church members,” she continued.

The police are currently on the scene investigating the matter.

Bahabour was supposed to return to Westmoreland today, but due to injuries to her arm and chest, she says her plans will be delayed.
