Legendary entertainer Lieutenant Stitchie has died

Legendary reggae gospel artiste Lieutenant Stitchie has died.

The beloved entertainer, whose given name is Cleveland Laing, passed away at a hospital in the Corporate Area today.

The news came hours after his wife, Sophia Laing, made an appeal to the public for donations of blood for the entertainer.

Stitchie suffered a stroke in 2024 that left him in critical condition following a severe brain haemorrhage.

He was recovering and receiving care at a private rehabilitation facility.
