Study shows the German accent is a big turn-off
Analysts have found that only one per cent find the German accent seductive, but 31 per cent consider Italian voices to be attractive.
Swedish was the second least sexy voice, polling at just two per cent, and only three per cent were turned on by Greek tones. English and Welsh also struggled on the sexy score and polled at just 5 per cent. Irish and Scottish voices were considered seductive by six and eight per cent, respectively.
At the other end of the accent scale, Spanish was the second biggest turn-on with 20 per cent, and French was next at 18 per cent.
A spokesman for Holiday Pirates, which conducted the poll, said: "The Italian accent was easily top of the tree."
