Hurricane Flora, regarded as one of the most severe natural disasters of the 1900s, unleashed widespread devastation. Its outer bands triggered significant flooding in Jamaica, causing extensive infrastructural damage throughout the Corporate Area. As a result, many individuals had to be relocated to secure locations because of the compromised condition of their homes.
